On September 29, a delegation from one of the largest and oldest state-owned industrial corporations in China 鈥� China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC Group) 鈥� visited Polytechnic University. Its main activities are related to the design, construction and high-tech equipment of metallurgical enterprises, as well as the construction of civil and urban facilities. The delegation was led by Liu Di, deputy director general of the corporation for Russia and CIS relations. The Second Jiangsu Conference on Industrial and Research Cooperation was held in Nanjing from September 11 to 12. More than 330 academicians, high-level experts participated in the event. More than 3,500 enterprises from Jiangsu Province and other regions in China presented their latest scientific and technological achievements. On September 12, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University was visited by a representative delegation from Shanghai University of Engineering Sciences, PRC (hereinafter referred to as SUES), our partner since 2016, headed by Vice Chairman of the University Council Shi Jianyun. On August 25, a group of Tsinghua University students visited Polytechnic University as part of an annual social practice aimed at learning about other countries and exposure to the world鈥檚 outstanding technological achievements. 17 students from Xinjiang College and School of Hydraulic Engineering of Tsinghua University visited Polytechnic University. The fall session of the International Polytechnic Accelerator started at Polytechnic University. The program is a continuation of the spring session and is dedicated to the development of innovative projects of the university researchers in order to enter the Chinese market.
