On March 25-27, representatives of Russian universities and innovative enterprises paid a working visit to the space town of Wenchang, Hainan Province, China, in order to expand cooperation in the field of space technologies: joint projects in launching small spacecrafts, receiving and transmitting data from satellites, using the ground station network by Chinese schoolchildren, and conducting joint educational programs. Within the framework of the visit, memorandums of cooperation were signed between the Innovation Promotion Foundation, Wenchang Space City Administration and the Aerospace Innovation Technology Research Center of Tsinghua University, as well as between the Innovation Promotion Foundation, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and the Aerospace Innovation Technology Research Center of Tsinghua University.
