Sarik Thunnvortn, Master’s degree student at ICE

Sarik Thunnvortn, a master’s degree student at the Civil Engineering Institute, is from Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, studying in the Civil Engineering program. His father was educated in civil engineering in the USSR and told his son a lot about Russia. So Sarik began to study Russian and set a goal to get a scholarship to study in St. Petersburg.

The institute’s curriculum is carefully designed to ensure that we are well prepared for real-life challenges. I am deeply grateful to the Russian government for making my dream a reality. Thank you to Polytechnic University and faculty for creating a warm and favorable learning environment, for helping me in my education and working on my thesis. Here I got a solid foundation in civil engineering and a desire to learn innovations in the construction industry, shared Sarik Thunnvortn.
